Microsoft is caught with any Mac release in two ways. Firstly, all those PC switchers and/or those who use a PC at work, say, and a Mac at home want the experience to be extremely similar, both for the sake of ease of use, and for productivity. I recently checked out the latest new iMac, a top-of-the-line 2.93GHz with the bigger 2TB traditional-style hard drive fitted (not the SSD) and 12GB RAM.
