Yes they're yellow

Apple admits to yellow tints on iMacs: Apple doesn't always do the best job of publicly responding to customer concerns, says Macworld. But the company on Friday made a public admission to Gizmodo regarding the yellow-tint fiasco. Apple didn't return our request for comment, but its representatives reportedly delivered a statement to Gizmodo on the issue.

HDMI ports coming to Macs, rumour claims: Apple will start adding HDMI ports to Macs later this year, sources claim. Prototypes of a new Mac mini are said to be circulating with HDMI connections in place of the earlier DVI port. Next to this is a mini DisplayPort connection, for the Cinema Display or another DP-compatible monitor. The new Mini is otherwise cosmetically identical to the current model, claims MacNN.

MobileMe director leaves Apple: Pablo Calamera, former director of MobileMe for Apple, has left to join mobile entertainment group Thumbplay as Chief Technology Officer. 
Calamera was ten total years with Apple at different times the most recent stint being 2006-2010. 
Thumbplay Music is currently being offered in the US as an invitation-only private beta; the company says the service will be available on iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry devices in the first quarter of 2010. [via AppleInsider]

New Wacom tablet: Wacom has introduced a new version of its Cintiq 21UX, a redesigned update of its interactive pen display. It features enhanced pen performance and improved ergonomics for professional photographers, designers, artists, and animators. The new product carries the same name and nearly the same specifications as the previous version, but it offers a number of updated features. It costs $2000US, though.
