Aperture update addresses problems: Apple has released an update for Aperture 3 that addresses memory and disk problems related to importing large libraries. It also includes stability and performance improvements.
It's a free download for existing users. 

Money program Quicken Essentials for Mac 2010: After numerous delays, Quicken's long-awaited money management software built specifically for the Mac arrived Thursday in the form of Quicken Essentials for Mac 2010.
Quicken Essentials for Mac is a brand new product developed in Cocoa to optimize the Mac look and feel. It connects twice the number of banks available in the previous offering, Quicken Mac 2007 (from 4000 to 8000). The company expects to have access to 16,000 banks in the coming months.
Advertised features of the new software include the ability to view your accounts all in one place, and to automatically categorise transactions so you can see where your money’s going and pay down debt.

STM bags' new website: Australian based STM Bags today announced the launch of their new consumer website (www.stmbags.com).  With an emphasis on product and lifestyle photos and information, the new website is designed to help consumers find the perfect laptop bag for their laptop and have a little fun along the way. 
The new site features country of origin flexibility, high-resolution product photography, video capabilities and lifestyle imagery to show the product on body and in use.  Social media is leveraged throughout via sites like Facebook, Youtube and Twitter with a convenient ShareThis function. 

Johnny Cash is 10-billionth: Apple sold its 10 billionth song yesterday, thanks to Louie Sulcer of Georgia downloading a Johnny Cash song. The all-time top songs are listed on Apple's website.

Boot Camp partitioning utility CampTune 8 for Mac OS X released: Paragon has launched a final release, after over a year of beta testing, of its Boot Camp partitioning utility, CampTune 8 for Mac OS X
The software allows users to redistribute free space between the Mac OS and Boot Camp NTFS partition. It prevents users from having to erase their entire partition and reinstall the Windows partition when a space change is needed. It can transfer free space in both directions, not only adding space to the Boot Camp partition but recovering space for the Mac OS as well.

Changes to Gmail: Google has made some changes to its Gmail service, upgrading six Gmail Labs experiments (like YouTube previews) to become standard Gmail features, while permanently dropping five others (including location-based signatures).
