Tiny OS changes might signify bigger things — Pointing towards one of the smallest Mac OS X user interface changes possible, Daring Fireball illustrates that Apple could potentially be pretty close to releasing high definition displays. Shedding some light on the improvements that were, for example, recently made to the finger pointer in the latest update to OS X, 10.7.3, it is suggested Apple could be making these changes in part due to improvements in Universal Access for OS X, but also in preparation for the release of HiDPI or,
super high resolution displays.
Is Apple ready to issue a dividend? There has long been talk that Apple would, or should, someday pay a dividend to its investors. Such talk got more serious when Tim Cook stepped into the CEO role last fall. And now, it looks like this wishful thinking by Apple shareholders might come to fruition. GigaOM

Google hires ex-Apple staffer for 'secret' project — Google is working on a “secret project” that must need some product integrity as they’ve hired Apple senior director of product integrity Simon Prakash. He worked for Apple for over eight years and is responsible for helping Apple remain top among product quality. This seems to be the first time Google has hired such a senior-level person directly from Apple, and this would certainly
