Specialist Mac writer, 40¢ per word submitted
Mark Webster has been writing, in Europe and New Zealand, for 20 years on music, wine, culture, socio-politics, IT, Apple Macs and iPods, digital photography, classic cars and social and military history.
Author of the definitive book on the NZ car assembly industry (Assembly: NZ Car Production 1921-1998, Reed Books 2002), Mark has also written numerous Mac how-to, review, tips and specialist articles and stories on New Zealand’s most interesting Mac users as editor of NZ Macguide magazine (2002-2007).
Mark has also contributed many articles to D-photo (digital photography), NZ Classic Car (including the long-running ‘Webbo’s Whirled’ column), NZ Classic Car yearbooks, Tone magazine (IT and home entertainment), The Photographers’ Mail (professional photography), plus, formerly, AA Directions, Koekrand (in Holland), Maximum Rock ’n’ Roll (USA), Monitor (BFM’s magazine in the 1980s), and Stamp and Loose magazines, both of which Mark also co-founded.
